🔷THE “CHURCH” HOUSE

It’s been a long while but we should be done wiring this famous New Orleans property soon.

A little history——it’s an Albert Ledner-designed property. The New Orleans born-and-bred architect, a contemporary of Frank Lloyd Wright, designed this Jefferson Avenue structure back in 1955 for the Unitarian Church. Another example of a place of worship-turned-high dollar residence. Behind the glass walls of the 8,602-square-foot Uptown spread is a very open floor plan with 26-foot ceilings. Outdoor perks include a roomy balcony and deck out back with an inground pool. Fun fact: This is the former home of historian/author/professor Douglas Brinkley, who bought this four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath place in 2004 for $1,199,500.
