Wow! We don’t have any words but we will try to find something to say. We surpassed our goal of raising $100,000 for , clocking in at $125,000! We cannot thank you all enough. As you all may know, we have a few awesome items we’re raffling and bidding off to help raise money for ! We have four unique items and experiences that we are giving you the chance to get your hands on!

The fourth and final item we are raffling off may be our most coveted item yet. What is it? It’s a crawfish boil raffle, of course! At a mutually agreed upon location and time, for just $20 a ticket, you have the chance for the extraordinary gentlemen of Deswine Intervention to cater your crawfish boil? Why get your hands dirty when the Deswine Krewe can do all of the dirty work for you?

The raffle includes an excellent bottle of bourbon as an appetizer, segueing into 120 pound of Louisiana’s finest mudbugs and all the fixings you can get your hands on, and to wash it all down, a pony keg of New Orleans famous local brew. The final piece of this delicious puzzle, you’ll receive a few containers of the World Famous Mayor’s Pickles, Mayor’s Peppers, and the slight less World Famous Garrett’s Cowboy Candy!

If we somehow can’t get together before crawfish season ends, we will offer a BBQ cookout in lieu of a crawfish boil.

These three have gone above and beyond in their fundraising efforts, and their rewards are not just the best trophies around, but knowing their efforts are making a difference in these families lives.

Less than 48 hours until Deswine Madness begins!

The cost to play is $40 per bracket with $20 going towards the pot and $20 being donated to Deswine Intervention to benefit families dealing with pediatric brain cancer. You can fill out up to five brackets.

You can Venmo the payment -Owen-17. Also include names for your brackets with the payment. The brackets and payment must be submitted by March 21 at noon Eastern/11 am Central. Payouts will be 70% of pot for first place, 30% of pot for second place, and a return of the buy-in (which will be subtracted from the pot before 1st and 2nd place payouts) for third place.

Please take the time to fill in your own bracket and encourage others to do the same. The more that play, the bigger the prize and more funds raised for Deswine and the families we support!

What is a BillyCado one may ask? Picture this- A delicious ripe and lightly grilled avocado, smothers with Deswine Intervention’s famous BBQ pork or succulent blackened shrimp.
You think that is all? There’s more! The BillyCado is topped with the finest pico de gallo around, a sprinkle of queso fresca, fresh cilantro, and the best diced sweet mango any human can find. And if you’re lucky, it’s all finished with a side of our house tortilla chips.
