Fact: More pets are lost on 4th of July than any other day of the year!

It’s important to keep in mind the safety of dogs as many dogs go missing around this time every year due to the fireworks. If you know your dog can be a flight risk when it comes to loud noises or if you are unsure how your dog will react it may be better safe then sorry to keep them on a leash whenever they are outside. If your dog is going to be at home and left unsupervised I would recommend utilizing the crate in a calm place in your house. Also I like playing white noise in the background from a radio, 91.5 is the classical music station here in Rochester and is my goto.
