When we opened in October, 2007, this painting by Mexican artist Bernardo Roman Palau reflected our ambition to call attention to sourcing and celebrate the magnificent interconnectedness our company represented. Yes, it’s just ice cream, but it comes from a living animal and the human hands that cultivate each precious ingredient that goes into it. As we celebrate our closing day at 186 Underhill Ave, and look toward a new year continuing to offer our products through retailers and restaurants, we hold this same global awareness close.
