I love the word serendipity. It captures those moments when effort meets opportunity and something wonderful happens. While I believe in hard work, I’ve found that a little luck can make all the difference.

A perfect example of this was our recent collaboration with Heather Senison and Katherine Marks for The New York Times. Heather was working on an article about designers bringing their cultural heritage to New York City - a theme that resonates deeply with me. As someone who infuses my Ukrainian roots into my life and design choices for our apartment, this was a chance to share our vision.

Working with Heather and talented Katherine Marks was inspiring and rewarding. Months of dedication and collaboration culminated in the article which beautifully tells our story. It was a moment of pride and joy to see our hard work and creativity recognized in such a prestigious publication.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this happen, (Julia Kropovinska first thing!). This experience reminded me of the power of creativity, the joy of collaboration, and the beauty of embracing the unexpected.
