Last year, President Biden kickstarted clean energy boom by passing the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) – investing hundreds of billions of dollars in clean energy incentives with strong labor standards that will create good union jobs, advance equity, and slash carbon pollution.
Since then, unions have come together to ensure the IRA is implemented in a way that creates real benefits for working people and their families. Thanks to continued organizing, the future of clean energy is bright, and it will be built by union workers. One year later, and labor continues to lead on tackling climate breakdown and inequality.
