NEW BEGINNINGS || July 18 - September 2024
A Group Art Show from members of APAC at
(BUCK’s Asian Employee Resource Group)
⭐️ Join us for the opening reception this Thursday 7/18 from 6-9PM!
Lunar New Year always provides the chance for renewal, with the Year of the Dragon as the luckiest zodiac year for a fresh start. With trying times behind and ahead, this opportunity for luck and rebirth inspired BUCK’s Asian Employee Resource Group to sponsor New Beginnings.
New Beginnings is inspired by the artists’ own experiences of moving to new homes, starting new jobs, forming new lives, and belonging to immigrant families and communities with a history of similar transformations. Through this lens of personal change and auspicious first steps, the artists explore the diversity of visual media, individual experience, and Asian identities so often reduced to homogeneity.
