Congratulations to Detective Mary Anne Petrizzo as she retires after 35 (yes, 35!) years of dedicated service to the NYPD and the Brownsville community NYPD 73rd Precinct We thank her and wish her well

Last night we fed some members of the community, then took them to the Rockefeller Tree Lighting ceremony. A huge thank you goes out to our Borough and Precinct Community Affairs officers for all of their planning and assistance.

Congratulations and best wishes to Chief of Department Kenneth Corey, whose service and dedication to the City of New York spans more than three decades. We wish him well in his retirement and thank him for his leadership.

After a two-year pandemic hiatus, the African American Day Parade made a grand return to Harlem today. Thank you NYPD 28th Precinct NYPD 32nd Precinct and NYPD Patrol Borough Manhattan North for your hospitality.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of Police Officer Cohn from the NYPD 90th Precinct who passed away this week. He was a vocalist with the NYPD and a good cop who genuinely cared about the community he served. He will be sorely missed. 💔

Greene, and the Blessings to the Wind Ceremony in Vinegar Hill
