I'm often asked while demonstrating back slaps (baby heimlich) for choking, Can you hit them too hard?

Me: You can, but injury is very unlike... Um. Yeah. 🤣

I take really good care of my equipment. I pride myself on how clean and operational it is. However, wear and tear has taken its toll and this is the unfortunate result. This was baby's last back slap. 🙏

Meet Simon. He's a new addition that helps my clients prepare for their new arrival when they come home from the hospital. I can't tell you how many mistakes are made. People have the best intentions, but have your installed by a professional.
