Cl****al hood reduction is often performed alongside a l***aplasty. Also called a hoodectomy, it’s a surgical technique which reduces the size of the cl****al hood by trimming away excess tissue. Normally the cl****al hood covers the cl****is to protect it from external irritation and friction. For some women, however, excess skin overhang in the cl****al area may cause discomfort, infections and decreased sexual enjoyment. Meet Dr. Mahmoud
Dr. Mahmoud is a board eligible gynecologist and highly trained cosmetic surgeon specializing in cosmetic and functional gynecological medicine. Dr. Mahmoud trained at St. George’s University where he served as the Vice President of the Medical Honor Society and on the board of the Anatomical Clinical Research Society.

He completed his residency at the State University of New York Downstate, where he continues to serve as a clinical associate professor.
