Over forty years ago Giuseppe and Maria Ruscigno opened a small shop in the heart of Little Italy in the Bronx. Ten years later, they moved Joe’s Italian Deli into its present location, which is three times larger than the original store. Our deli features exceptional imported items and homemade food that showcases the Southern Italy recipes that Joe and Maria learned from their parents. Even though we’ve changed with the times to welcome new traditions, our famous homemade fresh mozzarella remains the same. We are open seven days a week to serve our loyal customers the finest Italian products made fresh daily at the most reasonable prices.
