Yesterday, we honored and celebrated Pastor Cathy’s retirement after 32 years of ministerial service, and 13 years at Park Avenue. We wish her well in her retirement (her final sermon at PAUMC will be June 2nd) and are grateful for her leadership in strengthen the PAUMC community. Brava!

Today, the General Conference of the United Methodist Church voted to remove restrictions on the ordination and marriage of our LGBTQ+ siblings. This long-awaited and historic decision affirms the full inclusion and welcome of all it's members.
More details will follow, but let us rejoice and celebrate this hope-filled sign of resurrection of our United Methodist Church!
