Wuersch & Gering Represents ASH Group in its Acquisition of M-B Companies

Wuersch & Gering represented ASH Group in its acquisition of M-B Companies, Inc. from its sole shareholder. ASH Group is a leading European manufacturer of ice and snow removal and street cleaning equipment with approximately $600 million in sales and 2,000 employees worldwide. This acquisition marks ASH Group’s strategic expansion into the North-American airport market.

Wuersch & Gering’s team included Daniel A. Wuersch, Jason Rimland and Claudio Guler (Corporate), Thilo Agthe, Maria Luisa Palmese (IP), Sherica Bryan (Employment), Maureen Monaghan (Tax) and Chris Carpentieri (Environmental). The seller was represented by Husch Blackwell LLP.

United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (“UNCITRAL”) in Vienna, Austria, on 15-17 March, 2017

Partner Thilo C. Agthe will be a panelist at the Fourth International Colloquium on Secured Transactions hosted by Working Group VI of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (“UNCITRAL”) in Vienna, Austria, on 15-17 March, 2017. Mr. Agthe will discuss aspects of intellectual property law licensing in the context of international commercial transactions. Mr Agthe will be joined on the panel by Jeff C. Dodd of Andrews Kurth (Moderator), Lorin Brennan of Grey Matter, LLC and Prof. Andrea Tosato of Nottingham Law School. Mr. Agthe has previously acted as a member of UNCITRAL’s Working Group VI panel of experts on intellectual property questions and for four years represented the International Trademark Association during Working Group VI’s drafting of the UNCITRAL Legislative Guide on Secured Transactions and its Supplement on Security Rights in Intellectual Property.
