Grant Tip: Not sure if your project fits? Ask for a meeting! Most granting agencies have staff ready to meet with you because this saves them time too. Just be sure to come ready with questions.
Grant Tip: Use the search function on your application draft to ensure you have keywords from the application materials in your application.
Grant Tip: Don't see a deadline as an inivitation to wait to apply, especially with UTO applicaitons, the sooner you apply the more help you'll receive with your application.

Each year, UTO funds projects from the Emery Trust Fund, which was created to support missionaries and mission education as well as to take care of the artifacts of the United Thank Offering.
We are so very grateful to the Archives of The Episcopal Church for using their UTO grant to create a virtual reading room about the history of UTO and story of the evolving role of women in the church. Our Story
The first collection was taken in 1883. Since then, UTO has collected and given away $137,094,170.52 in 5,205 awards. Every penny given to UTO is given away the following year to support innovative mission and ministry in the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion.
UTO Grant applications are available twice a year. On the first Friday of August, Young Adult and Seminarian grant applications are available and are due on the first Friday on November. Our annual grant application materials are available on the first Friday of December and due on the first Friday of March.
