ASA College's credits are accepted widely at many institutions across the United States. We offer a variety of 2-year degrees and certificates in business administration, health disciplines, legal studies, and computer technology.
Dear ASA Students:
ASA is in a process to consolidate its operations in Manhattan and Brooklyn campuses. COVID19 has had a negative impact on the enrollment. Therefore, ASA is in the process of space reduction in Manhattan and Brooklyn campuses. This project has brought a significant number of challenges.
We need to be sure that technology and infrastructure are in place and functioning to serve our students to the best of our abilities. Unfortunately, to accomplish this, we need to rely on outside firms, i.e., Verizon and moving companies.
We need to assign offices, classroom space, and labs appropriately. This is a very time-consuming process
Therefore, with the advice of the executive committee, the Fall 2022 semester start date for New York and Hialeah is being postponed until Monday, November 21st, 2022.

During this National Nurses Week, ASA College’s Massage Therapy program demonstrated its gratitude for all those who take up the profession by providing massages to on-the-job nurses at Brookdale Hospital. Dr. Barry Newman, Program Director, noted that these well-deserving heroes are on their feet all day, providing care to others. As can be seen, Brookdale’s nursing staff agreed the hands-on work of ASA Massage Therapy students was well received. Our Story
ASA’s modest roots began in 1985 with Alex Shchegol and 12 students in a small Manhattan classroom. Known then as ‘Advanced Software Analysis’, the College focused on computer programming, as New York City had a dire shortage of qualified mainframe programmers at that time.
Since then, the college has grown to more than 3000 students, 20 programs of study, and 2 large, centrally-located campuses in midtown Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn as well as one campus in Hialeah, Florida. Today, in addition to computer technology, our programs focus on the rapidly-growing industries of healthcare, business and criminal justice.
Over the years, as technology revolutionized how every major industry operates, ASA created and updated programs of study to meet new market needs. Consistent with the demands and capabilities of our student body, which includes highly motivated and mature immigrants, ASA programs have always featured a “hands-on” training component.
In 1999, ASA received authorization from the New York State Board of Regents to confer degrees in accounting, computer programming and information technology and medical assisting.
