Lucky NYC kids are getting the most brilliant teachers this Fall! Congratulations to the MSEd Program Completers: Naquan Holden, Inez Veronica James, Alvin Just, Kristin Mann, Dona-Lee Marshall, Monica Ramsey, and Jasmine Ratcliffe!
Dr. Patrick Ianniello, MSEd Program Director, followed the inspiring greetings from MCNY President Dr. Charles Gibbs.
The ceremony featured heartfelt reflections from the graduates themselves, along with cheers from Dr. Frances Meyer and the dedicated MSEd faculty who helped guide and mentor the students throughout their academic careers: Dr. Shamel Farley, Dr. Eric Fuchs, Dr. Leonard Golubchick (RIP), and Dr. William Quintana.

MCNY AWARDED $2.9 MILLION NSF GRANT
Metropolitan College of New York is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant under the Robert Noyce Teacher Fellowship Program to support # MCNY’s STEM education and develop highly qualified mathematics teachers for high-need communities.

Congrats to our partner, Union Settlement - 130 years strong! Monday, August 5, 2024 @ 9:00am marks the kick-off of the anniversary celebrations at El Sitio Feliz Community Garden, 237 East 104th Street =in East Harlem. Union Settlement’s President and CEO and MCNY trustee and alumna, Dr. Darlene Williams, is inviting the MCNY Community to join and support. MCNY President Gibbs will be on hand for remarks along with Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine, NYC Administration for Children’s Services Commissioner Jess Dannhauser, and NYC Aging Commissioner Lorraine Cortés-Vázquez.
