The thing about new material is that the show tells you how it needs to be worked and how the story gets to be told.

It was no different for "ILLUSION", as a director I had an idea of the things that I would like to accomplish with this primary reading of the show, what always amazes me is the talent that NYC has to offer and how much of the show came to to being because of this incredible group of actors brought together to tell this story for its first audience, ever.

We learn a lot. We change. We grow. But most importantly, We connect.

In a very short period of time we become fond of each other, of the show, of our characters, of the songs and when it comes to an end, the sense of accomplishment and the energy we were able to give and receive from each other and from the audiences is what we cherish the most.
