This Throwback Thursday, we wanted to highlight the Paramount Global Building, which underwent extensive interior renovations by multiple contractors and carpenters with the New York City District Council of Carpenters.

The office of media giant Paramount Global at 1515 Broadway is undergoing extensive interior renovations to modernize the 54-story building. Union contractors and the New York City District Council of Carpenters are providing much-needed upgrades to multiple floors, showcasing their exemplary training and skills.

On June 19, 1865, Union soldiers led by Major General Gordon Granger landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the Civil War had ended and that slaves were now free. We were honored to attend Nontraditional Employment for Women (NEW)'s Leadership Awards Luncheon yesterday.
