As someone who has dedicated his life to serving this city, I am so proud to stand beside the members of our NYPD family who protect the people of New York City every day. As we gather together this weekend to celebrate and reflect on the importance of yesterday’s date, it is fitting that we take time to salute the dedication and commitment of our officers.

Today, we paid tribute to both uniformed and civilian members for their many years of service within the NYPD. Their unwavering dedication and commitment to their roles have played a crucial part in enhancing the safety and security of our city.

Our Rapid Response Team continues to be a bridge between the NYPD & our community. Earlier this month, they joined the African American Clergy & Elected Officials for an event honoring Lieutenant Gordon for his well-earned promotion. I was humbled to also be honored for passing the NYS Bar Exam.
Honored to speak with CEC District 29 scholar students. As a product of District 29 schooling myself, it was an exuberant experience to come back and share the stage with the honorees!
A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for any information leading to the apprehension of the individual responsible for a heinous crime that occurred in Kissena Park on 6/13/24.
A male suspect, described as Hispanic, approximately 5’ 5” with curly hair, in his 20s, and last seen wearing red sneakers and carrying a green backpack, committed an act of r**e against one 13-year-old victims in the vicinity of Colden St & Kalmia Ave. This abhorrent individual forcibly removed the victims’ cellphones before fleeing the scene.
As a father myself, I can only empathize with the unimaginable pain and suffering this family is enduring. It is paramount that we as a community / city come together to seek justice and ensure the safety of our loved ones.
Please help us in bringing this MONSTER to justice. If you have any information regarding this incident or the suspect, please contact at 800-577-TIPS (8477). Remember, all calls are strictly confidential, and your assistance could be critical in delivering closure and justice to this affected family.
CommUNITY. For their Unity in the Community event at Legacy Prep High School, our Rapid Response Team officers partnered with .nyc and teams to make the day extra special. The students participated in drills and games & learned about community programs.

Proud of the NYPD Finest Football Team. They worked hard, came back from some early mistakes, & defeated NY’s Bravest in the NYPD v New York City Fire Department (FDNY) Football game this weekend.

The NYPD Finest Football Team presented the Diller family with a plaque in memory of fallen NYPD hero, Detective First Grade Jonathan Diller.

When it comes to facilitating events and protecting New Yorkers, no one does it better than the NYPD. This Sunday, 5th Avenue will be home to the 59th Annual Israel Day.
We will have a bolstered police presence to ensure everyone’s safety on and off the parade route.
We are proud to host our interagency meeting ahead of the 59th Annual Israel Day on Fifth this Sunday.
We are in lockstep with our agency and community-based partners, so that we can ensure the safety of spectators and participants alike.
Humbled to host Stephanie Diller, wife of NYPD hero First Grade Detective Jonathan Diller, and her brother Jonathon Mcauley today in our office for a special visit along with the Rafael Ramos Foundation, NYPD Hispanic Society, and Blue Lives Matter organization.
We will Jonathan’s sacrifice for the people of the City of New York.
While our NYPD police officers watch over NYC, & ensure a safe holiday weekend for all, we honor & remember the brave men & women in the US Military who made the ultimate sacrifice, including 47 NYPD officers, in defense of liberty & freedom.
