We are grateful for the trust that American Jews have put in the German government. Jewish life is a part of Germany and it is a pivotal part of our work to be able to restore the citizenship of those who were persecuted under the N**i regime.

For some American Jews, a path to German citizenship opens options their ancestors never had | CNN Germany will take in descendants of citizens denied their rights by the N**is during the 1930s and ’40s. Some Jewish Americans are tackling the paperwork for more opportunities.

We are looking forward to seeing the German wee dance company perform at the 43rd Annual Battery Dance Festival on August 11 and 13 in Rockefeller Park.

Next week, Carnegie Hall will celebrate the first-ever World Orchestra Week (WOW!), an ambitious international initiative that will bring five youth orchestras, including EUYO - The European Union Youth Orchestra, to New York City to make music and engage in valuable cultural exchange with internationally renowned artists and other brilliant young musicians. The wonderful musicians of the Chelsea Music Festival treated our partners and friends to a preview concert at the residence last night, playing and singing pieces by Schumann, Richard Strauss, among others, on the eve of their summer Festival presenting “Connecting the Dots”, led by Artistic Directors Melinda Lee Masur and Ken-David Masur.

🎶Their festival traces how music and art allows us to touch what seems intangible, repair what seems broken, and reimagine our interconnectedness with one another.
