Yesterday, Victim Found K-9 Search and Rescue members participated in a training exercise simulating a tornado disaster. Teams from Disaster Dogs of Illinois (DDI), NWI K9 Search and Recovery, Inc. (NWI), and hosted by Illiana Search and Rescue Teams, came together seamlessly to locate the missing and deceased tornado victims. Our use of cutting edge technology to track every step our crews and K-9s take in real time, help keep everyone safe and expedite our mission to locate the lost and the missing. Job well done by all involved!

Victim Found K-9 Search and Rescue welcomes K-9 Scout and his handler Matt to our team!! Scout is a 4-year old Dutch Shepard who, along with Matt, are certified in human remains detection and recovery through the American Rescue Dog Association. Welcome, Team Scout, to the VF family!!!!

A huge congratulations to 2 of our pups from Victim Found K-9 Search and Rescue who successfully recertified yesterday! Certification is not easy, and it takes great determination and focus from not only the K-9s, but the handlers as well. K-9 Tater and K-9 Finley stand ready to assist law enforcement in the search of the lost and the missing 24/7/365.
