This was a custom commission intended as an anniversary gift between NYU grads who met and married at the university. It's a framed arrangement of six of our standard, 1:5000 scale NYC modular models, but with six buildings that have special significance to the couple highlighted in NYU violet.

Cambridge in copper.

This entirely custom piece captures most of the Harvard University campus, along with a couple of other sites significant to the HBS grad who commissioned it.

The scale is slightly larger than our standard 1:5000.

About a year ago we designed and produced a couple hundred copies of a custom gift item for the Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corporation commemorating the opening of their newest venue, the Sphere in Las Vegas.

The goal was to bring together MSGE's five landmark entertainment venues in a single, sculptural object. We did that with a simple rectangular block split into five equal sections, with the copper plated venues arranged in chronological order, centered in each section and surrounded by a little bit of their context.

From oldest to newest, the venues are:

The Chicago Theater (1921)
The Beacon Theater (1926)
Radio City Music Hall (1932)
Madison Square Garden (1968)
The Las Vegas Sphere (2023)

We take a lot of progress and process photos that are just for our own records and never see the light of day.

Every once in a while though, the light of day in one of those photos is unusually nice.

This New York Times Gothic "T" logo print centered on Times Square is something we originally produced years ago using FDM. These days, we can do better.

A magnitude 4.8 earthquake may not move Manhattan much, but we do every time we deliver and install one of our custom models.

The FDA doesn't require us to disclose that this product contains MSG, but we're doing it anyway.

In addition to Madison Square Garden, you'll find landmarks like the James A. Farley Building and renovated Moynihan Train Hall, One and Two Penn Plaza, and 450 Seventh Ave.

NYC model 09-F is now available with a representation of the future 175 Park Avenue, slated to be a 1600 foot tall, 83-story tower with a projected completion date toward the end of this decade.

As this building is a long way from completion, a lot can still happen to its design. Our model is based on publicly available information and will likely be out of date soon (if it isn't already...)

But for those curious about what this tower (and the new J.P. Morgan Chase monster rising a few blocks north at 270 Park Ave -- available on a new version of model NYC 10-F -- will do to Manhattan's skyline, it may be of interest.

Striation is on permanent vacation.
