Dear Diocesan NFP Leader,

Today is First Friday and I would ask you to pray for the flourishing of ministry in Natural Family Planning at you 3:00PM hour.

Please ask the Lord God to pour out His Holy Spirit on husbands and wives to open their hearts to His marvelous design for love and life in marriage. Please pray for all NFP leaders—that they may be strengthened in doing God’s will and supporting marriages. And, pray that all people will reclaim God’s design for marriage.

Also in this email, I would like to share a letter from four of our USCCB chairman (see usccb.org/resources/Letter_Access_to_Family_Building_Act_2024.pdf; it is also pasted below, note that the signatures did not translate to this format). The letter has been sent to Congress to oppose the Access to Family Building Act (S. 3612). This act is an extreme reaction to an incorrect understanding of recent legislation that was published in Alabama.

After reading the letter, I hope you will share it with your email lists and also ask your people to write to their elected officials to oppose this bill as well.
