Tony Nominations 2022: Scenic Designer Bunny Christie For Company The most recent revival of Company, by Stephen Sondheim, began at the John Gielgud Theatre in London's West End and is currently running at the Bernard E. | Nominated for Best Scenic Design of a Musical, Christie was inspired by Alice in Wonderland and walking round New York at night.

Ticket Sale Dates Announced for Broadway Run of A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical The new musical recently announced dates for its Broadway premiere at the Broadhurst Theatre.

Aurora Productions is currently accepting Production Management Internship candidates for the 2021 / 2022 Broadway Season. The internship runs from late summer 2021 until late spring or summer 2022. The position is primarily theatre based but encompasses work in the office as well. Working as an intern for Aurora is a great opportunity to be introduced to the collaborative process of putting together a Broadway show and to see how a Broadway Production Management office operates.

As valuable members of the Aurora team, the interns gain extensive hands-on experience working alongside some of the most notable names in Broadway theatre. The interns immerse themselves in all aspects of Production Management.

Duties Include:
- Show assignments to gain firsthand Production Management experience from Aurora’s Production Managers, Designers and Crew Members on a production.
- Research, place, track, and distribute orders for our productions.
- Maintain Purchase Order database and code bills to appropriate budget lines.
- Maintaining show files and production calendars.
- Supporting Production Managers both in the theatre and in the office.
- General Office Coordination i.e., answering phones, placing office supply orders and supporting both Business Affairs Manager and Director of Communications in addition to in theatre duties.
Candidates should be organized, motivated, and excited to adapt to the ever-changing tasks that come up during the course of a Broadway season. The ideal candidate should have a background in production management, stage management and / or technical supervision.
Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Excel. File Maker Pro knowledge a plus. Familiarity / Experience with IATSE, USA, and AEA agreements a plus.

The internship is a full-time position. Interns will be offered a weekly stipend to cover expenses and a monthly metro card.

Last night, The Colonial Theater in Westerly, Rhode Island, opened their Summer Shakespeare Festival Production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare starring Rudy Sanda, Richard Herron and Jamie Dufault. Directed by Marion Markham and edited by Liam Griscom.

“The Colonial Theater of Rhode Island is committed to producing professional theatre of the highest quality, establishing a series of educational programs and training opportunities for both children and adults designed to enhance both knowledge and appreciation of Theatre Arts.”

It will be Majestic!

The Shubert Organization is delighted to partner with The Actors Fund and Sammi Cannold and Dori Berinstein for the premier of the highly anticipated new documentary film "The Show Must Go On."

The film, about the survival of theater in the wake of the pandemic, premiers in a star-studded one-night-only event at Broadway’s
Majestic Theatre on August 9th. The event, to benefit The Actors Fund & featuring performances, represents the first time that the venue home to The Phantom of the Opera has welcomed back audiences since Broadway shut down. Tickets at tinyurl.com/TheShowMustGoOnPremier.

It's *almost* showtime!!! That's not Beetlejuice on stage, it is Martijn Appelo who has spent the last month and a half in South Korea at the Sejong Center bringing Beetlejuice back to life! Here's to the holiday weekend and continuing the journey of getting audiences back in the seats! Thank you to Martijn, Bespoke Theatricals and all the designers, stage managers, crew and translators involved for their continued hard work to make this production possible! We'll see you on this side of the globe soon!!
