And what a night it was, after fierce 3 round’s competition Robin and Diana captured the bronze medals! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Excellent showing of Fred Astaire New York East Side at the 2024 New York Dance Festival.
Our first time competitor Riana Freedman danced well beyond our expectations and won all her single dances and the Silver Closed Championship and placed 2 in the Silver Closed Scholarship!
Our superstar Tatiana Monastyrskaya showed her best dancing to date making all finals in her single dances and then after an unexpected bump to the Silver closed Championship she placed 3rd and captured the bronze medal. She also made it into the very difficult final of the Silver Closed scholarship.
Both those ladies were guided and partnered by our charismatic instructor Mr. Robin Veskus. 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Yesterday was Closed Rhythm day and our first time National competitor the Beautiful Paulina Ortiz with her instructor Bozhidar Elkin burned the floor, showing grace and remarkable dance skills, making all of us super proud! ❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏Oh and she also had some fun around the pool!!! 😜

Oh what a night for Fred Astaire New York East Dance Studio at the NDC in Orlando. Our champions Robin Veskus and Diana Gavrilova won the Closed International Standard division. That makes it 2 for 2 after they won the Closed International Latin division last year. It is a great start of the Fred Astaire National Championships for our studio.
