At AAOGC we understand the challenges that the LGBTQ+ community has faced throughout history. We also understand the importance of embracing one's authentic self and living life on your own terms. This is why we encourage everyone to embrace Pride month as a reminder to celebrate who they are, no matter how they identify. We encourage members of the LGBTQ+ community to come together as one, to celebrate the diversity that brings us strength. Let us all stand united in support of each other, and let us move forward with pride in our hearts, knowing that we are not alone. Together, let us continue to raise awareness of the many struggles still faced by the LGBTQ+ community. Let us continue to support each other and embrace the differences that make us beautiful as individuals. Remember, there is nothing more powerful than being your authentic self, and that is something worth celebrating every day. Happy Pride!

CALLING ALL PARENTS WITH LGBTQ CHILDREN, OR LGBTQ PARENTS WITH CHILDREN.
AAOGC is seeking Parents of Gay, Transgender, and Non-Binary Youth; to assist them in better understanding their children's s*xuality and identity through education. CMD (Connecting More Dots) will promote acceptance from parents and family members of le***an, gay, bis*xual, transgender, and queer/questioning (LGBTQ) youth. The program helps family members who are struggling with acceptance understand the detrimental effects that disapproval can have on LGBTQ youth. Family acceptance is a proven strategy for decreasing risk of future health, mental health, and homelessness problems among this highly at-risk group.
If you are a parent who already accepts your child’s s*xuality, orientation, gender identification, we welcome you wholeheartedly with open arms. We would like for you to join us because you already have the lived experience and knowledge that other parents, who don’t, may need. We would love for you to share your journey with us, on how you arrived at acceptance.
This is a pilot program. At this time, we are seeking folks who may be interested in a program like this.
Please feel free to contact:

AAOGC is revving up to do a 3MV (for Gay and Trans-men, who sleep with other men) virtually. The date and days are not set yet; I will get back to you with those. It will be two days for a couple of hours each day. Since it's virtual, it will not be held on a weekend. Participants need to be able to access a computer, laptop, I-pad, or phone. We need to garner interest, and participants, as this needs to be done by year end.
Participants will be incentivized and need to be 19 years of age and over.
Also, Trans-men can be participants, only if they sleep solely with other men.
Thank you so much for your help.
Please contact me directly if interested. 973 639-0700 ext.13
