SNEAK PEAKS ❤️❤️❤️ This gorgeous day was beyond special. It began with the most amazing welcome reception in Newburyport and ended in stunning Ipswich at the Crane Estate. The weather was giving us a run for our money, watching the percentage chance of rain rise and fall but ultimately we were able to have their ceremony on the grand allee! It was perfect timing with the most beautiful light!!

It wasn't until the ceremony where I just told myself to stop, relax and live in the moment. But if I could go back in time, I would tell myself this advice

I have known what I wanted to do since I was a teenager. For me, becoming a wedding planner was not a late in life dream or something I thought would be a cool way to spend my time. My business and job is so MUCH more than a career. It's a part of who I am, and believe me, I could sit in front of my computer for 16 hours and not even notice that I 'worked.'

Why do I want to do this crazy, stressful, intense job? Have you ever spoken to someone right after they got married and they tell you everything that went wrong? That is why I do what I do. I want the first thing my clients to say is everything that went right. I want them to tell you about how calm it was when they put on their gown or how magical photographs felt or how much they enjoyed the day because no one asked them questions. This is a core memory, something people remember for the rest of their life. My team and I do NOT take that lightly. We understand the amount of trust you place in our hands and we do not take that for granted.

I'm alllll about advice these days 🤣🤣🤣 These are my top 5 things a bride NEEDS to have on her wedding day:

- Moment of peace before hair and makeup begins. Wake up 30 minutes earlier than you planned to and ease into your day. Enjoy a cup of coffee or take a hot shower, go for a walk. Appreciate that it's your wedding day before allll the craziness begins
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Lipgloss/Lipstick! You have to find the perfect lipstick, lipgloss, lipstain or combo for your wedding day. You will reapply 2-5 times a day. You need something that has an easy applicator!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- The BEST maid of honor. Trust me you need her. You need her to calm you down, make you laugh, find your phone (lol), know where your comfy shoes are in the suite. Choose wisely ladies! This job is so important to your mental health on the day
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- Food and water. You forget to eat or you don't want to eat because of nerves but I promise you will regret it later. It will be 45 minutes into photographs and you are going to wish you drank water and had the bagel.

- Let It Go Attitude. How you are, how you act, how you handle things going wrong WILL BE how you remember the day. Be mad, upset and cry the next day. But that day, just remind yourself it doesn't matter right now. You are marrying your person with all your friends and family, you look beautiful and you are about to have the FUNNEST night of your life. Choose happiness, choose joy.
