The Well - Be Filled | Pour Out

In Ecclesiastes 3:1 King Solomon wrote words of wisdom that would be true from generation to generation: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…”

The Well is an example of this. After much prayer and discussion, we believe that the season God has ordained for our ministry has come to a close, as it has served His good purpose. And what a season it was! With twenty Gatherings and as many Pour Out opportunities we have seen the ladies of our community grow spiritually as individuals and together as sisters, and the items you have donated to organizations in our community have touched countless lives.

While we will no longer gather together, we are all still on mission; the work is not over, just changing. Until Jesus returns, we all still have work to do. We have faith that our God will continue to work in our community to advance His kingdom, and He will use each one of us for His good purpose as we seek Him and allow Him to. We have been filled at The Well. Now it is our time to pour out into our churches, women’s ministries, and communities! To enable us to stay connected and continue our work together, we have created a Facebook group titled “The Well Community” that we hope you all will be a part of. It will be a place for women to share information about events, gatherings, and happenings of churches and organizations in the Coweta/Fayette area for us to pray for and to be a part of. Continue being the hands and feet of Christ, ladies. We look forward to seeing how God is using each of you to build His Kingdom!

Our May Pour Out is Coweta Pregnancy Services 💜 They are a non-profit, faith-based organization that believes every woman should have access to the information she needs regarding her health and possible pregnancy. Therefore, they offer all of their services free of charge: pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, counseling, Earn While You Learn parenting classes, and emergency assistance.

If you are able, please bring one (or more!) of the following items to our next gathering:

• Baby lotion
• Diaper rash cream

Introducing our May speaker 🥳

Krissy Lewis is a growing believer and daughter of the King. She is passionate about connecting people, stories, ideas, and inspiration, most especially to the transformative truths of the gospel.  

In 2023, after 27 years in public and private education, she launched a business to help people find and communicate clarity, impact, and purpose, which is also providing time to blend her gifts and life experiences to lead Bible studies and workshops, write, and mentor others.

A mother of two, mother-in-law of one, she, her husband Gary (best friend of 33 years), and Gracie, the family dog, enjoy a slightly empty nest.

Meet our March Pour Out: 4Heroes is a faith-based organization in Fayetteville, Georgia that tries to bring comfort, consolation, hope, and help to the first responders in our area. They do this by having regular visits to various stations to foster relationships with the personnel, offering counsel and a listening ear, visiting sick or injured personnel, providing assistance to victims and their families in the event of significant trauma, performing weddings, funerals, and memorial services, and much more!

If you are able, please bring one (or more!) of the following items to our next gathering:

Meet our March speaker: Karen Stubbs! ✨

• Though Karen’s passion is encouraging mothers, her topic at The Well will be applicable to women of all life stages!

• Karen Stubbs is the founder and leader of Birds on a Wire, a ministry designed to equip moms through truth, encouragement and community. She is the author of 3 books, and has also developed small group curricula for moms that is being used across the United States and around the world. Karen and her husband Greg have four grown children and reside in Cu***ng, Georgia.

• After graduating from Auburn University, she and Greg moved to Virginia Beach where Greg served in the Navy as a fighter pilot. It was during those tough early years that Karen, as a young mom gained her passion for motherhood and grew in her reliance on God. She is passionate about challenging moms to experience motherhood in the way God intended it for them and their families.

Our first gathering of 2023 is right around the corner, and we are thrilled to be partnering with the local organization Hoping Forward!

Hoping Forward’s mission is to offer hope in the form of service and social interaction opportunities to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in order to improve mental, physical, and emotional health. They do this through a day program (Monday to Wednesday), an adaptive sports program (partnering with Newnan Leisure Services), and the Hangouts on Tuesday evenings.

If you are able, please bring one (or more!) of the following items to our next gathering:

We’re *ONE* month away from our first gathering of 2023, and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce our next speaker, Donna!

Donna Kennebrew loves mentoring young women, and has a passion for discipling, encouraging, and counseling women of all ages and stages of life.

She graduated from North Carolina State University in 2014 with an industrial engineering degree, then from Luther Rice Seminary in 2018 with a Masters in Biblical Counseling.

She has taught in Dekalb County Schools, worked in commercial insurance risk management with The Travelers’ Company, and she, now, serves as Worship Leader and Counseling Ministry Lead at her church of 33 years, Mount Moriah Church of Tucker, Georgia.

Donna and her husband, André, currently live in Sharpsburg, GA. They have been married for 34 years and have two children, Holden, 31 and Kristen, 28.

The City of Refuge is a faith-based environment in Atlanta that helps individuals and families transition out of crisis by providing them help and teaching them skills with the goal of enabling them to thrive in their community.
