We plan to grow our on campus huddles/ run more off campus bible studies/ encourage students with worship events to refresh their soul/ reach more coaches spiritually/ train more volunteers/ encourage our students to reach our community SO THAT we can share the gospel more - and see teenagers, coaches, athletes, and teachers all come to know their Savior, Jesus Christ. ✝️

As you start a week long break from school, FCA wants to encourage you to think of things you’re THANKFUL for. What are you thankful for ? Heart this post and comment 1 or a few things you’re thankful for this week. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable week spent with those you love. Share the love of Christ with somebody this week. 🤍

EACH DAY IS A NEW CHANCE!

Stand out, stand up and be different. God is calling you to be and do more to shine your light on Him. Speak about Him to your peers, maybe that’s the first time they’ve ever heard about him. Don’t be afraid to TAKE THE CHANCE on and off the fields, courts, tracks or even the classrooms of your school. God is calling you to share His great name.

Happy Veterans Day 🇺🇸 thank you to all who have served and are serving our Country for our freedom. May God Bless you and your families.

In our pregame talks, we tell our players to “play with heart” and encourage them to perform their best. The more our players develop such a vision, the deeper their commitment to the sport becomes.
 
This is what Jesus wants from us. He wants to develop a heart in us that will commit to knowing Him in a deeper, more intimate way. As we develop this kind of heart, others will notice.
 
For years, I believed in who God was, but I did not have a relationship with Him. Then the Lord brought a friend into my life to “coach” me into wanting a relationship with Him. She cared enough about me to show me her heart. As a result, I was so drawn to Jesus that I surrendered and He became the Lord of my life. As I learned to trust Him, all my relationships changed.
 
As competitors who follow Christ, we can pour out to others what He has poured into us. He’ll restore and rejuvenate our relationships as He continues to change our hearts. And as we rest in Him and continue to be transformed into His likeness, the peace, hope and joy we experience with Him will show our players what it really means to play with heart!

a few questions to think about :
•In what ways have others – teammates, coaches, friends, etc. – poured God’s love and hope into you?
•Think of those people whom God put in your life to model heart and faith. How could you now encourage them?

Last night was absolutely powerful. Thank you to everyone that came to support these students. God is definitely moving in Coweta County. This student led event is one of our most favorites !!

Fields of Faith was a beautiful experience last night. We could feel the presence of the Lord. God is so good.

Coweta FCA HUDDLES: High Schools— here are the times of when your school meets for FCA. If you have questions on how to get involved, please let us know and we would love to help you. ✞

Hearing athletes and coaches pray before competition is always interesting. Many times pre-game prayers can be a “rah-rah” talk or desperate plea for a big win. As a true competitor, what is the correct way to pray before entering the heat of battle? The following prayer is fitting for a game, competition, workout, or even practice:

Lord, I compete for You alone. I have crossed the line, and there is no turning back. In every victory and every loss, I play for You. Every time I compete, I stand for the cross. My love for the game is evidence of my love for You. My drive comes from the Holy Spirit. Through the pain and the cheers, I will not give in or give up. My passion for competition comes from above. The champion inside of me is Jesus. My only goal is to glorify the name of Christ. To win is to honor Him. I feel Your delight when I compete. All of my abilities are from You. I am under Your authority. I will respect and honor my teammates, coaches, and opponents. I play by all of the rules. I submit to You as my Ultimate Coach. I am Your warrior in the heat of battle, humble in victory and gracious in defeat. I serve those on my team and those I compete against. My words inspire and motivate. My body is Your temple. You dwell within me. Nothing enters my body that is not honoring to You. I train to bring You glory.

Questions to think about:
1. What are your pre-game prayers like?
2. How do you define winning?
3. How can you develop your prayer life in the arena of competition?

Pray:
Lord, I admit that my prayers before competition are more focused on the scoreboard than on You. I desire to pour out my heart before You every day. Develop in me a true and pure heart. Amen.
