CONGRATULATIONS to Dan Rossen, skipper of Problem Child and BCYC Distinguished Racing Member, for two amazing 1st Place wins in the 2022 Newport to Ensenada Race...1st Place in ULDB Class D and 1st Place in the Double-Handed Class (his 10th consecutive win).

Congratulations also to the other BCYC skippers who braved the strong winds and rough seas to complete this year's Newport to Ensenada race. They are: Steve Brown, skipper of Dark Star...Mark Jensen, skipper of Le Refuge...Larry Bjork, skipper of Calary...and Gabriel Nistor, skipper of XLR8.

In case you missed it...the course record for monohull boats was broken by more than 2 hours by RIO 100...with an elapsed time of 7 hours, 2 minutes, 17 seconds.
