Drumroll, please! The second dog to be adopted thru GSROC this year is our very own Angel, a stunning sable shepherd who decided that she never wanted to leave her foster family! Angel slipped right into the family and the resident dog approved. Congratulations, Angel!

Do you recognize this beauty queen? This is Lucia, rescued from a parking lot where she and her siblings had been abandoned! Someone dumped an entire litter at a shipping company and the puppies were hiding under shipping containers until GSROC rescued them.

Lucia has come a long way, thanks to the love and great care of wonderful volunteers. She is playful, happy and loves to go for walks. Lucia would love another dog as a companion as she takes her cues from leader dogs. Will you please share her story with all of your fellow animal lovers? These incredible GSROC volunteers all stepped up to take orphan dogs to the Back Bay (Newport Beach) for some new sights and scents. The weather was perfect and everyone had a marvelous time!

Louisa and Lorenzo are siblings who were rescued from a parking lot. They are happy and healthy and eager to find homes of their own. They are available individually or as a pair. Introducing Jersey, age 9 weeks! He is one of Zelda's puppies, and brother to Denim and Velvet. Jersey's foster family says that he loves to cuddle and that he enjoys having another dog to play with. New Year's Eve fun! ZsaZsa and Ava are the white sisters rescued from the Riverside Shelter, Lorenzo was part of the Parking Lot Puppies, and Remi was rescued with her family from the hills in Temecula! Each of these sweethearts is thriving thanks to the love and support of thousands of donors across the country who make i possible for GSROC to continue our work.

As we start this new year, we want to send our heartfelt thanks to all of our fellow animal lovers who believe that we can make a difference one dog at a time, one dollar at a time and one day at a time.

Although the dogs in our care may not have homes (yet), they sure do have a lot of people who care about them! Here's what the GSROC orphans enjoyed on Christmas Day this year thanks to the beautiful work by the kennel staff! We think Pete approves of his meal. We think we have the very best team in all of rescue!

Sweet little Stevie is a happy girl who loves to play. She is energetic and silly, but loves to cuddle after she is all played out. Stevie is approximately 6 months old and knows some basic commands. She will thrive in a home that continues her training! See more photos at gsroc.org.
