Single Leg Good Morning w/ Tidal Tank
This exercise places emphasis on lower body stability, AND foot/ankle activation. Like I often say, the feet and the ankles are the most neglected body parts. Without proper foot and ankle activation, it’s impossible to perform ANY lower body exercise properly.
This exercise focuses on:
🔵foot and ankle activation/mobility
🔵hip mobility,
🔵hamstring and glute activation
🔵strengthening,
🔵core strength stabilization/balance
🔵force production from the glute that creates POWER.
This allows the athlete to become more explosive in their movements.

Still feeling stuffed after yesterday’s feast?
When you consume lots of food, your stomach has to physically expand to accommodate the additional volume, potentially leading to some discomfort and some digestion issues.
Here are three yoga poses to get your digestion moving again after turkey day.
⭐️Bridge Pose⭐️
🔵 To enter this pose, place your feet flat on the floor as close to your sitting bones as possible. Exhale and press your inner feet and arms into the floor while stretching your knees forward. Take 10 deep breaths here, then slowly roll your spine down to release.
⭐️Revolved Crescent Lunge⭐️
🔵 From a standing position, lunge back with your right leg ensuring that both feet are pointing forwards, then twist your upper body to the left.
🔵 Inhale and place your hands in prayer position, twisting from your waist.
🔵 Gaze up at your left elbow and hold for five breaths. Inhale as you slowly stand up again, then repeat on the other side. Take a long slow deep breath into the belly and relax.
⭐️Garland Pose⭐️
🔵 Bend knees, lowering the body into a squat with toes angled to the outer edges of the mat.
🔵 Moving from the hips, fold forward, placing your hands on the mat in between the knees.
🔵 Gently tuck the chin in toward the chest, allowing the crown of your head to relax toward the mat while lengthening the cervical spine.
🔵 Hold for 5-10 breaths.

And understanding that it's not just about the game. It's also about giving them life skills that they will have years from now. Implementing YOGA, meditation, mindfulness, etc. Talking about the mental aspect that my generation wasn't given.
ITS ABOUT HAVING THE RIGHT TOOLS TO SUCCEED.
LETTING THE KIDS KNOW THAT THIS IS A SAFE SPACE WHICH INCREASES THAT KID CHANCES OF REACHING THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.

We can’t control a lot of things, but one thing we can control is our thoughts. If we listen to the silence and stay present in the moment we are able to see things more clearly.
Try out this mindfulness exercise:
Walking meditation. Find a quiet place 10 to 20 feet in length, and begin to walk slowly. Focus on the experience of walking, being aware of the sensations of standing and the subtle movements that keep your balance. When you reach the end of your path, turn and continue walking, maintaining awareness of your sensations.

Chinese Plank- Good for strengthening the posterior chain. This will light the ENTIRE POSTERIOR CHAIN up from your calf, Hamstring, Glute, LATS, and Upper thoracic.
