*Amendment Four, the ballot initiative referenced, would potentially allow abortions up to birth due to the loopholes in the Amendment's language. GRTL desires all leaders and individuals to oppose extreme abortion amendments.

In light of Donald Trump’s recent comments on his plan to provide universal funding for in vitro fertilization procedures, Pro-Life Action League president Ann Scheidler offers the following statement:

"Though we share his desire for Americans to have more babies, Trump’s plan to fund in vitro fertilization (IVF) for all American women is in direct contradiction with that hope. Hundreds of thousands of embryos—each of them as fully human as you or me—are created and then destroyed or frozen in IVF procedures. Those lives are discarded in a prime example of what Pope Francis calls 'throwaway culture.' I call on President Trump to walk back this IVF funding scheme and instead direct those resources toward pro-family policies like paid family leave and expanding the child tax credit that will help Americans joyfully welcome each new member of the human family."

West Georgia's largest "Stand for Life" (SFL) is right around the corner! Praying you and your church group will join us during our 20th Annual SFL on Sat., Oct. 19 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Highway 27 South in front of the Walmart in Carrollton.

***Bring the teen and/or young adult group from your church! Each church from Carroll, Douglas, Heard, Haralson or Paulding County that has a youth group with 10 or more people ages 12-19 at the “Stand for Life” will receive $100 from WGRTL.

Praise God that Arkansas' pro-abortion ballot initiative was shut down.

However, there are still 9 states with proposed pro-abortion initiatives on the ballot this fall, with our neighboring state, Florida, being one of them.
