Downtown Associates of North Attleborough (DANA) DANA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised solely of volunteers.
Our goal is to help keep downtown vibrant and alive. We believe that a viable downtown benefits the entire community, making it an appealing place to live and a great place to do business. We accomplish this by hosting annual events, i.e. Chocolate Lovers’ Stroll, Strawberry Festival, Back to School Shuffle & Fair and the beloved Santa Parade, which is in its 61st year. Welcoming Summer Downtown, this event has a Patriotic Theme with a Strawberry flavor! Food, family fun and free games for kids and a "Patriotic Bicycles, Tricycles, Wagons and Wheels" parade held in the Park! Come and check it out. You are sure to have fun.

Rick Shiers painted this view of JD's and the Sharon Credit Union back in 2015. This year, on Saturday, June 1st, a group of artists will participate in an event called Paint North Attleborough Beautiful... an outdoor painting competition that uses our town as inspiration. Paintings will be on view on June 1st by the Gazebo at Veterans Park, then at the Churchwood Gallery at The Preservation Framer for the rest of the month. Who will be the Grand Marshal of the 2023 DANA Santa Parade? Nominations should be a person or group who has strong ties to the community and/or may be an unsung hero whose story should be told. The Grand Marshal will lead the parade and help give out the float awards. Nomination deadline is November 15, 2023. The parade will be held the Sunday after Thanksgiving at 3pm.
Nominations with explanation no longer than 500 words may be made by email to: [email protected].
Previous Grand Marshals include Chris Cornetta & family, the Johnson family, JoAnn Cathcart and family, Kristine and Larry Crosman, Charlie Legg, and family members of Edward G. Lambert who was longtime chair of the parade.

What a day! Thank you to everyone who came out to Halloween in the Park! We had a ball and we hope you did too. Congratulations to the winners of the Best Costume Contest. There was so much creativity and imagination that went in to everyone's costumes this year and it was so hard to choose a winner.
A big thank you to North Attleborough Park and Rec for assisting DANA with this event. We also want to say a huge thank you to our sponsor, BRIGGS NURSERY! Your generosity made this day possible.

Come to Veteran's Park (in front of town hall) to celebrate "Fall Downtown" with vendors, food, games, costume parade and contest!
Bring your carved pumpkin to display on the Town Gazebo and potentially win a prize for "Most Creative" and "Best in Show".
The fun begins at 1:00 with pumpkin decorating. The costume parade will kick off at 3:00 and the contest will take place at 3:15.
The event is sponsored by Briggs Nursery. Thank you, thank you Briggs! And a huge thank you to North Attleboro Parks and Recreation Department for co-presenting the event with DANA.
