Sisyphus is Happy | Opinion | The Harvard Crimson 11/12/2018

For this week's Motivational Monday, let's check in with those folks pahked at Hahvud. Oliver Kim, who is/was an editorial writer in Leverett House (no idea what the house has to do with editorials, I just wrote what he wrote, so) wrote about one of Albert Camus' essays.

Albert Camus was a philosopher and the essay that Kim is writing about discusses the myth of Sisyphus, the guy forced to roll a stone uphill for eternity. Camus' argument is Sisyphus learns to embrace this punishment.

If Sisyphus is content with rolling a stone for eternity, I think we can manage to finish our week's assignments with a smile on our face.

https://www.thecrimson.com/article/2013/10/29/sisyphus-is-happy/

Sisyphus is Happy | Opinion | The Harvard Crimson It is inevitable in the hustle and bustle of life at Harvard that we’ll occasionally lose sight of the greater meaning in our lives. It is precisely in these moments of desperation that we should heed Sisyphus’s example.

We here at CCB would like to acknowledge all veterans on this day of remembrance. With the best of wishes and the utmost respect, we thank you for your service. Your sacrifices will not be forgotten. Hats off and three cheers to all of you.
