Scholarships may be used for costs associated with research projects, launching a business venture, course-related activity or conference attendance. Applications for a Conway Center Student Project Scholarship are considered on a rolling basis.

An innovator who transforms ideas into thriving enterprises, Malhotra has built venture-backed startups and teams within Fortune 500 companies. Two of the startups that he founded and grew were focused on responding to challenges that disproportionately affect women.
Malhotra joins Smith to inspire and realize a new vision for Conway—to lead students in co-creating enterprises that collaborate across disciplines and economic boundaries, and which foster both individual and community wealth.
