My organization, Quorum, is seeking women, trans*, and non-binary computer science students for our Summer 2021 Change Politics Internship Program—a 12-week, paid summer internship program aimed at helping students from underrepresented groups gain exposure to politics and the technology sector. Reaching out to all former Smith CS majors with who would be willing to give a few hours a week or their time to work as online volunteer TAs for our CS department. The time would be mostly used to answer questions from students taking Introductory programming courses. We are losing our student TAs as of today, and will have to rely on online tools to teach our lectures and labs. We need extra help fielding questions, and helping with debugging (Python, Java, data structures). We thought of you, our former students! :-) We'd need help from March 30 to May 8th... Anybody interested?
