Last night at NSYFCA Family Night we were thrilled to be joined by the Northborough Fire Department.
Our sweaty post-practice 8th graders aren’t as buttoned-up as the Firefighters, but we’ll give them a pass. Thank you for attending, Northborough Fire Department!

Medic 2 and Medic 3 both out of service indefinitely until their replacements arrive and Medic 1 will be going out of service as well to fix a mechanical problem. Thank you Maynard Firefighters IAFF Local 1947 and Maynard, MA Fire Department for allowing us to use their equipment in the meantime.

A shift responded to this last night around 1900. The sprinkler system helped avoid what could have been a significantly larger incident.

Residential fire sprinklers quickly knocked down this fire on Dunia Ln last night preventing what could have been a significant and high dollar loss incident. Yesterday 3 of our members had the opportunity to train with neighboring communities on an acquired structure. They were able to train on skills crucial to basic FF operations. We can’t thank Berlin Fire & EMS Department enough for the opportunity to join in a great day of training. Great job by all departments involved!!

Site plans approved for Northborough fire station project Site plans for the new Northborough Fire Station have been approved by the Planning Board during their meeting June 18.
