Share the brochure with the people in the area, who need medical care, and will benefit from the medical clinic. This medical clinic is FREE and will serve the community who do not have access to a doctor or medical care/insurance.

Also, If you know multilingual volunteers, especially with Spanish, Khmer, Portuguese, Chinese, and African languages who would be willing to participate in the medical clinic as ushers, since we have identified patients who need help when English is not their preferred language.

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing away of Prof. K. Anil Kumar (81), a remarkable and talented translator of Swami’s discourses for over two decades. He served Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba with love, devotion, and dedication by spreading His glory, love, and message around the world.

An academician by profession who was deeply interested in spirituality, he was drawn to Bhagawan in 1970 while serving as a lecturer at the Andhra Christian College. Moved by Swami’s message of universal love and service, he joined the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Andhra Pradesh, where Bhagawan blessed him to serve as the State President. In the early 1990s, he joined the Brindavan Campus to take charge as Principal and later moved to the Prasanthi Nilayam campus. His commitment to academic excellence and spiritual values will remain etched in the annals of the institutions he so lovingly served, and will stay in the memories of his students, and the broader Sai community.

From the 1990s, he regularly translated Swami’s divine discourses, a blessed role he played until the very end of the advent of the Sai Avatar. A challenging task as a translator, he translated Swami’s every word with love, unparalleled enthusiasm, and animated delivery. A prolific speaker, he was called to address a gathering in Bhagawan’s presence for the first time in 1978 at the Poorna Chandra Auditorium. After that, Swami personally blessed him and allowed him to take His message all over the world. He touched the hearts of many devotees in many countries with his inspiring talks and by sharing his wonderful experiences. I have fond memories of sharing the same platform with him on various occasions in Prasanthi Nilayam, Italy, Australia, and the USA. I was amazed and awestruck to see his spontaneity, humor, astute answers to questions, and profound message.

On a personal note, all the members of our family, including my parents, had the good fortune of knowing him well. He was our guest both in Prasanthi Nilayam and at our residence in the U.S.A. My father had a great appreciation for Prof. Anil Kumar’s depth of understanding of Swami’s teachings and his ability to effectively communicate them to a wider audience around the world. My mother loved his storytelling talent, and his skills in singing Swami’s poems and folk songs as he narrated Swami’s teachings and his experiences. His endearing personality and devotion inspired devotees and the public alike. His voice will continue to ring along with Swami’s as we listen to divine discourses. Prof. Anil Kumar’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

On behalf of the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization, we extend our deepest condolences to Prof. Anil Kumar’s family and friends and pray to Swami to bless his soul with permanent peace.
