NNS is looking for a Teacher Assistant for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9-11:30am.

The ideal candidate is smart, organized, energetic, caring and loves to work with young children. Feel free to pass this along to friends and neighbors. Please note, this position does not provide health or retirement benefits and there is a chance this could become a Monday-Friday position.

Camp is a seven-week program and runs from June 24th - August 9th, from 9:15 am - 11:45 am. Students may register for one to seven weeks.

Children enrolled in our summer camp enjoy summer as it was meant to be: outdoors! The school’s outdoor classroom and spacious playground are the perfect complement to a curriculum that includes free play, art, experiments, music and movement, and story time. (And on those extra hot days? Children can beat the heat in our air-conditioned classrooms.)

Summer camp is for children entering a 3s program, 4s program, or kindergarten. Snack will be provided. Registration begins in February. Tuition must be paid in full upon registration, and the monies are non-refundable. No parent participation is required; we have experienced assistants.

Tuition:

• $250 for 4 day weeks (week 2)
• $310 for 5 day weeks (weeks 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7)
• Discount rate of $2,000 if registering for all seven weeks

Full tuition is due with the contract when registering. Checks are preferred, and can be made out to Northport Nursery School. Or if needed, credit card payments can be made at the school.

The 4s are working on art inspired by Henri Matisse. It focuses on fine motor skills through practicing with scissors, gluing and of course, creativity!

2s registration for the 2024-2025 school year will take place on Wednesday December 13th. This will be done in the comfort of your home! We will be utilizing the admissions function of Brightwheel, an app we use for school communications. Current and alumni families will receive an email link to begin the application process at 8:15 am on Wednesday December 13th. **Children must be 2 by December 1, 2024**.
