When I say, "don't let anyone weaponize your struggles against you," I mean that sometimes people will say to you that, "oh it's just because you're depressed or it's just because you're anxious that you feel that way." This could allow them to distance themselves from their bad behaviors towards you. It's another form of gaslighting. You may be depressed or anxious or something else but that doesn't mean that your concerns about others or anything should be minimized.
