MBA’s first Staff Life was a success! We celebrated Mrs. Stelogeannis and Ms. Buffington’s 27 year and Mrs. Bogert’s 25 year work anniversary. Let’s give a special thank you to these incredible women for all their years of service and dedication to the Ministry at Meadowbrook!

See You at the Pole 2023 🙌🏻

The staff had a fun time during staff meeting celebrating August and September birthdays as well as showering Mrs. Fleming and her baby girl!

This Wednesday is See You at the Pole™ which is a time of prayer on the fourth Wednesday of September when students meet at their school flagpole, before school, to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. It is student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led. Parents are welcome to come. Students will gather in the courtyard at 8 AM and prayer will conclude by 8:20 AM.

The theme for this year is “Wholehearted” based on the verse Jeremiah 29:13 “If you look for me wholeheartedly. You will find me.”

Dear MBA Families

We pray that everyone remains safe during the inclement weather caused by Hurricane Idalia.

We are pleased to announce that our campus will reopen tomorrow morning. Morning Care will open at 6:30 am for our registered attendees.

We will continue to keep all those who remain in the path of Hurricane Idalia in our prayers.

Due to the approaching Tropical Storm Idalia, and in the interest of ensuring the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and faculty, we will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 29-30.

All activities, practices and sporting events are cancelled for these days as well.

We will continue to monitor the weather closely and keep you informed about any further developments.

We will send out notifications via email, school website, and broadcasting messages through SkyAlert when we plan for classes to resume.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause, but our primary concern is the safety of everyone in our school community.

We are getting ready to welcome students back on campus and cannot wait to see each and everyone one of you!

Please join us on Friday, Aug. 4 for Student Orientation! Grades Pre-K4 - 5 will meet in the gym at 5:00PM and grades 6-12 will meet in the gym at 6:30PM. For those parents who have kids in elementary and secondary we believe we have allotted enough time for you!

Feel free to bring your school supplies on this evening to bring to your homeroom class and don’t forget to grab your carline tags so that Monday carline can operate as quick and smooth as possible.

Join us TONIGHT! This is a critical conversation about the state of mental health in our students! We are excited to invite all of our MBA parents, students and families to hear our guest speaker Will Hutcherson - author, speaker, and Next Gen Student Pastor. He is passionate about finding practical ways to bring hope to kids and teens who are facing increasing amounts of anxiety, depression and despair. We highly encourage this free event - you do not want to miss this. Childcare is provided!

What a ”sweet” night we all had at the Annual MBA Trunk or Treat event. The weather was great, creative themes throughout all the participating cars, and the absolute best time hanging out with our MBA community!

So grateful for all who helped make this night a huge success.

Another great night at MBA as our 9th & 12th-grade girls “Ninja Turtles” took on our 10th & 11th-grade girls “Tune Squad” for the annual MBA powderpuff game. The crowds were also entertained by the high school boys as they presented their halftime performance.

So grateful for all those that helped make this night a huge success and for all the families and friends that came out to support the event.

SERVE Week is coming upon November 5 - 11. This week will be an incredible opportunity to bless our community as we show the love of Christ in real and tangible ways!

We are monitoring the trajectory of Hurricane Ian, and we have made the decision out of an abundance of caution and concern for our families to close the school Wednesday through Friday of this week.

We will have a regular day of school tomorrow and participate in afterschool extracurricular activities as scheduled. Our afterschool extended care will close tomorrow at 6pm as well.
