Ocean Springs Beautification!

We had the pleasure of working with some amazing students from Hollister, Massachusetts today! ☀️💪

Lisa, Aiden, Liam, Hugh, Megan and Amelia took some time today to help spruce up the Depot lot in downtown. Lisa and her team are a group from St. Mary’s Church based in Hollister, Massachusetts who flew to the Mississippi Gulf Coast area yesterday looking for opportunities to c***ect with people and help out communities along the gulf coast.

By way of “repairing and replenishing” this group along with 63 other teens and 14 other adults raised funds for a mission trip. We were fortunate to work with this wonderful team of 6 individuals today. Thank you to Carl King and Chic Cody for your coordinated efforts. 🧹🪴🌱

Mr. Danny with the Ocean Springs Chamber-Main Street led the team and worked alongside them outside on this hot yet beautiful day!☀️

The deadline for artists to apply for the 46th Annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival, presented by Blue Moon, is August 1. No late fees!

Apply via ZAPP to join 400 national artists, crafters, food vendors, and musicians. The festival is on November 2-3 in downtown Ocean Springs, MS, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Ocean Springs Chamber’s Visitors Center is now a drop-off location for the 2024 Back to School Supplies Drive hosted by WLOX!

To support our students, WLOX, Chevron, and the Ocean Springs Chamber-Main Street are collecting school supplies. Now through Wednesday, July 31, drop off your donations at the Ocean Springs Visitors Center inside the historic L&N Train Depot at 1000 Washington Avenue. Look for the big cardboard bus in the lobby!
