Bodywork and Oral Ties 👅

Babies with oral ties often experience whole body tension due to the restrictions not only in the mouth, but in the digestive tract. What does body tension look like?

* Arching
* Clenched fists
* Tight abdomen
* Looking only one direction
* Head tilt
* Elevated shoulders
* Furrowed brow
* C-curve body

This body tension can lead to difficulty breast and bottle feeding, delay in gross motor skills, torticollis, and digestive dysfunction.
