I had weight loss surgery 19 1/2 years ago. However, it took me 18 1/2 years to lose 153 lbs.

When you lose massive amounts of weight you dream of your skin sn**ching in beautifully. Unfortunately, that isn’t reality and there is no way of knowing what will and what won’t.
The skin under my eyes was one of those that didn’t sn**ch back. My lack of drinking collagen and not upping my protein greatly affected the elasticity of my skin.
I’m a book addict! Check out my new favorite book. This book is AMAZING and I highly recommend it.

This is ME after losing 153 lbs. It is very frustrating to work so hard to lose ALL the weight and then have to deal with all the loose skin.
It’s to the point that when I move my skin flaps and sounds like I 💨💨💨. In order to avoid those embarrassing sounds and looks, I have to wear a compression garment 24/7.
After 20 years since weight loss surgery, I will be having the excess skin in my lower body removed. I am so excited to head to Mexico in January.

On a daily basis people ask me how much I exercised to lose 153 lbs. My answer always surprises everyone because the answer is ZERO.
Even after gastric bypass surgery, I struggled with my weight. I regained 85 pounds and couldn’t lose the weight no matter what I did. I exercised and my weight DID NOT budge.
When I started focusing on what I ate, the weight literally fell off effortlessly without starvation or deprivation.
Exercising has lots of health benefits, but it can’t erase the damage created by a POOR DIET.
I have met so many women who exercise regularly and are still overweight years later. After talking to them, all had one thing in common a POOR DIET.
It’s up to YOU to choose! Proper nutrition is key to your success and well-being.
I remember when Mondays was the day I started a new weight loss program. I was lucky if I made it to the end of the week.
Every time I promised myself this would be the last time I would restart. Unfortunately, I wasn’t consistent and it lead me to hitting almost 300 lbs.
Throughout the years, I have learned that my decisions and sticking to it is what defines my tomorrow. I had to stop making excuses and realize that my choices TODAY define my TOMORROW.
Even now at goal weight I have to choose what I put in my mouth. Not only for weight loss loss but overall health.
I DEFINE my tomorrow by the choices I make today.
