Urogynecology of Oklahoma has been full of PA students for the past 3 months. They are learning so many different things. Our top tier providers are working diligently with our PA students on the understandings of women’s pelvic floor health and management. Dr. Allen has been an amazing preceptor to our PA students. She has guided them every step of the way when learning about how to provide the best care for our patients. Learning from one of best! ☺️

National Dachshund Day is celebrated on June 21st because it's also the Summer Solstice, which is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. Dachshunds are also the longest dog breed in proportion to their size.

June is Pelvic Organ Prolapse Awareness Month. Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) affects millions of women, resulting from weakened pelvic floor muscles and connective tissues, which allow the bladder, uterus, or re**um to bulge into the va**na.

June is National Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) Awareness Month. POP is a common condition that occurs when pelvic organs protrude into the va**na due to weak pelvic floor muscles. It affects up to 30-50% of women. Although POP is rarely life-threatening, it won't go away if ignored.
