Yoga for Skaters is a yoga practice designed with roller skaters in mind and is led by Ace. While named Yoga for Skaters, everyone is welcome.

Tomorrow, Monday March 27 we go live with our first Yoga for Skaters practice on Zoom, followed by 45-min core and conditioning workouts on Tuesdays & Thursdays 🛼. This year’s focus is rotational core for stability, strength and SPINS!

You can opt to join these classes live or, since you’ll have ongoing access to the recordings, you can do them when it makes the most sense for you.

Spring Conditioning for Roller Skaters is a virtual 4-week, off-skates series of workouts and Yoga for Skaters classes to support your fitness and keep you rolling strong. In this video series, we will be focusing on rotational core strength training and functional cardio conditioning to level up your skating👌🏼.

The Details:

🍄Monday March 27 -Thursday April 20

🍄Mondays: Yoga for Skaters, 4-5pm PST/ 7-8pm EST.

🍄Tues./Thurs.: Core-Focused Workouts, 9-9:45am PST/12-12:45pm EST.

Next month, Feb. 19, C R E T E C R E E P E R S] will be hosting a BOWL BASH !!!

As part of this event I will be leading a bowl skating clinic from 10-11am in the JSP bowl on Sunday Feb. 19 — contest starts at 2pm. During this clinic we’ll talk drop-ins, carving and building lines 🙌🏼.

This clinic is by donation, $10 suggested. I’ve added a sign up link in my bio with the suggested donation. If you cannot afford $10 let me know and we can get you signed up or if you’ve got extra cash to spare to support this event, bring it along!

Hi Friends, I am so disappointed to let you know that Fall Conditioning will be postponed to a later date. On Friday I had a gnarly fall and will be off-skates for the next six weeks or so. When I’m not roller skating or skate coaching, I work for a healthcare group as a Health Coach. My role is to support clients in programs that include exercise, weight loss, stress management, and pain management, to name a few.
Today I had to say farewell to a few long term clients who have worked hard to change their lifestyles in the pursuit of their own health and who are very close to my ❤️.
We had to say goodbye because these clients’ health insurance will no longer cover Health Coaching services.
As we said our goodbyes, I was reminded of how much courage and dedication it takes to be healthy. One client reflected on her health progress over the past year saying, “I never imagined I’d look forward to getting my body moving EVERYDAY, I didn’t know it could make me feel happy.”
The structures around us — our healthcare systems, our food environments, and the stigmas around mental health — create a barrier to health. That means it is up to us, should we decide to prioritize our health, to support one another by infusing value in the pursuit of health.
The drive to survive is primal, but these structures make our ability to thrive a privilege instead of a right.
How does this relate to roller skating?
For me, and I know for for many of you, roller skating is how we’ve found a way to be healthy. Sometimes it is because we want the energy to skate that we make ourselves eat and hydrate. Sometimes it is because of those skate dreams that we can get to sleep at night. And in some moments, it is because of that feeling skating gives us, we choose to stay alive. There have been so many moments in my life and so many choices I’ve made because I want to be able to roller skate forever. Skating and this skate community — both here on IG and IRL — is the most valuable health insurance policy I’ve ever had.
While I continue on my own health journey, I want to thank you friends and followers for supporting me with YOUR dedication to skating. Your posts on this platform, your hype during the session, your inquires in my DMs and your presence in my classes makes all the difference in the world.
Lots of love 💛, you deserve it and you’re worth it.

In this series we’ll use resistance to build strength and incorporate agility focused cardio to keep you moving through the season. Bring your (skate) weights or whatever else you can hold while you squat, press, pull and rotate 🙌🏼.

This is a 4-week virtual training series where we will meet live Tuesdays & Thursdays 12-12:45pm PST/3-4pm EST for 45 minutes and meet at Yoga for Skaters on Monday evenings 4-5pm PST/7-8pm EST. Stability + Mobility maintenance off-skates training can be your key to continued skate skill progress all summer long by preventing injury and maintaining a balanced body.

In this series, I’ll lead you through mini flow sequences to keep your muscles supple as well as stabilization strength training to keep you toned and balanced.
