Conceptual brand for an evolving development next to a field of milkweed that attracts kaleidoscopes of monarchs. This development was focused on a pedestrian-first design where vehicles were prioritized second.

From school kids to workplace adults to pooping giraffes, is everyone’s favorite sustainability organization!
A brand made up of 3 divisions now unified by a single logomark.

It was fun working with the brilliant as well as the owner and their whole team of this community conscious business.

Kamp Blackstone was created to be a place unlike anything in the area - fully immersive with creative food, drinks, and environment.

Always pushing further to create a unique experience, it was fun to collaborate with the incredibly thoughtful Extra Credit Group.

At Ooh De Lally, the patterns, borders, and frames are meant to remind you of an illustrated storybook.

✏️ They also represent that each person’s story is still being written.

📖 They frame key moments in time and represent the collection of individual stories that are being written at Ooh De Lally: from guests’ experiences to the team’s personal and professional development.

Ooh De Lally was named for the rallying cry to get behind and celebrate people. A restaurant with a beautiful mission, beautiful space, and beautiful identity.

An identity that is known for greatness…
We rethought it with a scribbled version to represent the ups/downs it takes behind the scenes to get to that greatness.

It takes courage to be vulnerable and grow.
This company is rewarding those strong enough to be vulnerable.

We loved getting to collaborate with our friends on not only the identity but also the experience of how their global team would interact with it all.

The Creative Director’s daughter had a bird book and we learned about the dawn chorus - where birds break out in song in the mornings. It’s sometimes used to call in their flock.

All seemed very appropriate for .

So we built a logo based off these song birds with their heads pointed upwards as they call in their flock.

The 45° angle pattern is a graph that represents dusk/dawn and the peak of the morning experience - brunch time.

We called in our flock of friends, artists, woodworkers, and mural painters to collaborate with the owners to see it all through.

We joked about welcome mats that looked better as they got dirtier.
Then we realized this joke might be onto something!

👀 Sneak peek at ’s welcome mats for next winter:
• Texture instead of flat color to hide temporary messes.
• Scribbles of apples to add another layer of texture.
• Dots to emulate salt so it all blends.

Bring your dirty boots next time it snows! They’ll be ready for ya.

This Dundee Bank - Omaha mural was based on a few things:

• The spacing is representative of where their locations are on the map.
• The canvases represent structure and financially sound principles.
• Drawing outside of the canvases represents thinking differently.
• The lines represent connecting communities together.

We had fun collaborating with Dundee Bank on their Benson location! They’re the best.

Some fun facts about the penny logo wall at Dundee Bank - Omaha's Benson location:
• There are four 1900 pennies hidden.
• Building was built in 1900.
• This is their 4th location.
• All the pennies are heads up and tilted the same.
• Laying out pennies to form a logo is harder than we all thought!

Super fun collaborating with our friends at Dundee Bank on their new location!

Le Fantome Food Hall x Bar right outside D.C.
This all-day marketplace combines celebrity chefs, a ghost kitchen incubator, 10 concepts, full-service bar, and seasonal patio.

Among many things, it was fun to think through how to attract attention to the space without using traditional signage.

We’re also loving the little ghost on the espresso mug!

Collaboration with Heartland Bike Share on their identity!

We love how they promote the use of sustainable and equitable forms of transportation for the general public.

We got to collaborate with the city of Springfield, their Community Foundation, their Business District, and community as a whole to create one cohesive and unifying brand identity.

They’re known for their welcoming community, picturesque landscapes, excellent education, growing art scene, and active recreational areas. It was fun learning and experiencing it all.

Springfield bridges the gap between historical charm and modern connectivity, peacefully nestled just outside the city of Omaha.

• Ali (Account Director) engaged in a productive alignment meeting with My Staff.
• Miki (Account Director) helped map out where a penny art installation at the new Dundee Bank - Omaha Benson branch would live.
• Our friend Sharon (Arbor Street Studios) reviewed vibrant mural plans for Ooh-De-Lally.
• Dave ran into one of SecretPenguin’s earliest clients, Eric Crouch from Crouch Recreation.
• Our team enjoyed a fun conversation during an alignment meeting with Millwork Commons.
• The exciting beginning stages of a brand alignment with Jons Naturals.
• A colorful on-site visit at Triage.
• Exploring merch opportunities for Ooh-De-Lally.
• Our Social Media Manager (Scotty) lining up vintage bikes from HELLO Apartments for a photoshoot.
• Getting in the Halloween spirit with a custom-painted pumpkin thanks to our friends at Alpaca.

We're doing social media a bit differently around here.
Our focus is on engagement. Not the number of likes.

Example:
• DISAPPOINTED: Some people came to our client's restaurant to eat pizza but didn't realize they were closed.
• ALERT: We found their post about hoping to have tried the pizza.
• SURPRISE: The next day, we showed up with pizza for their whole office.
• RESULT: Pizza became a tradition there.
