Beginning July 6 the FOPL bookstore will have extended hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays! The hours will be 10am to 5:30pm. Come on in and pick out some summer reading!

Join the Friends of the Orange Public Library this Saturday in the Courtyard at the Main Library for a Children's Booksale. Stock up on your summer reading!!

Free Eye Exams and Eyeglasses!

The city of Orange Library Services has partnered with UCI to host its Eye Mobile to provide free eye exams and vision screenings to children.

Glasses (if needed) will also be provided to children ages 3-12 at no cost.

The Eye Mobile will be at Taft Branch Library on Wednesday, June 28 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Friend President, Kathleen Stevens, presented a check for $30,000 to Dave Curtis, Library Director, for Orange City Library Programs at last nights City Council meeting.

Join the FOPL on Saturday, March 25 for a bag of books sale! The sale is from 10am-3pm and starts at 9am for FOPL members. $5/bag of books or save $1 and bring your own FOPL bag.

The Friends bookstore reopens on Tuesday,January 17, 2023, after new paint, carpet and other improvements to the Main Library! Bookstore Hours M-F 10-4 & Sat 11-3.

Kathleen Stevens, FOPL President, on behalf of the Friends presented a check for $30,000 to Dave Curtis, Library Director. The Friends are excited to be able to fund the grant at pre-Covid levels!

At the Friends book sale booth we raised $500 at the OPL Comic Convention! We had a variety of regular & special priced books. Look for us again in 2024!!
