Science needs art.
The discovery they talk about, "chirality" is extremely central to organic and bio chemistry and it took a background in art to understand it.
How Pasteur’s Artistic Insight Changed Chemistry At a young age, Louis Pasteur articulated the chemical property of chirality, which may not have happened had he not first pursued a career as an artist.

Happy Birthday Edwin Hubble! A hundred years ago, scientists, including Einstein, believed the Milky Way was the entire Universe. Einstein's math showed that the Universe was expanding, but he threw it out in favor of the evidence at the time. But Edwin Hubble saw further and even found a way to calculate how far away and how fast things in the Universe are moving. 101 years after his birth, NASA launched the Hubble Space Telescope, which has continued to expand our knowledge and let us see even further into the beauty of the ever expanding Universe.

Find those adults who you can relate to and who can mentor you through their positive examples.
“I’m a high school guidance counselor. I’m actually writing letters of recommendation right now. It’s tough to be a teenager. You want to be independent while still having to rely on everyone around you. As adults, we’ve been through it all, and we know what’s coming, and we want to protect them. But they don’t want to be protected. I just hope that every student at my school can find one or two adults that they relate to. And that's going to be a different teacher for every student. But we're getting older too, so it can be harder and harder to be relatable. I have to really work to keep up with the technology and terminology. I had to text my stepdaughter recently to find out what ‘bae’ means.”
